Hi, my diary name is AdviceOnLife or you could call me or it AOL (AdviceOnLIfe). First off, I'm here to help you answer any questions you may have concerning any life situations. living on your own isnt all that scary, its really fun, besides the bills but you do have all the freedom then when you live at home. and living with your fiance isnt that bad either, ive been living with my fiance for a little over a year now and you really get to know who they are as a person and if you can really live with that person. but its all worth it. i love every bit of it. i live here in colorado and i love it and i wouldnt change anything, well many one thing.. my job but i think everyone is like that. but its all fun believe me, just enjoy it, good luck!! oh and ive been reading your diary for awhile now.. :) GiGi [_GiGi_]

I always wondered why girls wore stilletos in the winter! I was just thinking about that too. On the flip side of a certain belle I found that college is the best time to make friends...but it's best when you first start out because you bond over the "i have no clue what I'm doing" sensation...I've made all my real friends in college...through working at the housing office, the sorority, and one out of 17 roommates (yes that # is real it is not an exaggeration) If i ever get married I'll have 5 bridesmaids..2 are my sisters 1 is a girl from hs and the other 2 are people i've met in college...do you belong to any clubs or anything? Do you talk to people in your classes? And don't worry about all the I'm tireds...I've been there numerous times (to which i call my mom and bawl my eyes out) I tend to get stuck in situations that I can't do anything about (like working on campus since i dont have a car) which leads to frustration but take heart--it may take a long time but they eventually go away [AKAshortie]

I've had days like you, actually I probably do once a week. And everyone tells you things will get better eventually and that is so what you don't wanna hear. So, then I play my instrument really loud, almost loud enough so the people that live next to us come out and crab about it. My school does that type of hiring thing all the time. They only hire students or adults who live in poor districts in order to get them jobs, but I agree with you. well this entry answer one of my questions from a later entry, and that you did go see X2 :D It's a shame about your job... it's too bad you didn't get a chance to tell off your boss and quit before he said you were fired... :( And your library sounds like mine. We are always moving books around and all the students are like "where the F*** is this book, it used to be in this section, now where is it". I was thinking about your previous entry and I'm not sure what to say, other than do what ever you think will be best for YOU! Like you I was stuck between school and family responisbilities and as a result stayed home to help out for the first 3 yrs of my school. This is one of few major regrets I have in my life, and if I could do it all over agian I would have lived in the dorm for those years instead. It doesn't sound like your mom was listening to you very deeply. You should live on campus. It's important, and I find that you miss out on a lot by commuting. The other thing I have found is that parents often threaten not to pay for stuff in an attempt to get you to do what they want, and then when you do your own thing, they help you pay for it afterall.
